We just took our daughter on her first vacation last year, she was 3 at the time. It was a 12 hour drive, she slept for some of the ride but we also made stops where she could get out and run around for a bit. She was also recently potty trained so we were worried about her being able to hold it the whole ride. We were really surprised she made the trip with no fussing at all, we didn’t even have things to entertain her in the car. I think the main key to travelling with a toddler is make sure you allow time for breaks.

No fun plans here, some of my family is coming over but we’ll be digging thru the boxes of my grandma’s belongings to see what we can get rid. I’d rather be having a fun BBQ.
